About Our Practice

Advanced Laparoscopic and General Surgery Nevada (ALGSN) is a group of experienced surgeons specializing in traditional, robotic, and laparoscopic general surgeries.

Our physicians are trained to diagnose and manage a wide range of diseases and disorders that may require surgical treatment. The group area of expertise is, essentially, the entire body.

We perform Gastro-Intestinal and Cancer Surgeries. Including Surgeries of the Gallbladder, Appendix, Pancreas, Liver and Intestines, Rectum, Colon, Hernia Repairs, Reflux Surgery/TIF (GERD) and more.

We are associated with multiple hospitals and surgery centers. We are on-call for general surgery group at Centennial Hospital.

Victor Yoon, DO, MBA, MS

Dr Yoon is a board certified surgeon with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry.
He trained at the University of Massachusetts, and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, as well as other renowned centers like Johns Hopkins Hospital and Shock Trauma at the University of Maryland.
Special Interest areas include:
-Minimally Invasive Surgery
-Robotic Surgery
-Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.

Dr Yoon completed an MBA with a focus in healthcare management from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

Pankaj Bhatnagar, MD

Dr Bhatnager is a board certified surgeon with twenty-five plus years of general surgery experience.

He has held the position of chair of the Department of Surgery at Centennial Hills Hospital since 2017.

Dr Bhatnager has been In private practice of at ALGSN since 2008, The practice addresses General, Thoracic, Laparoscopic, Minimally Invasive, Robotic and Vascular Access Surgery.

He received his BS from Kent State University, his graduate training and residency at St Luke's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Da Yu (David) Yu, MD

Dr Yu is a general surgeon, whose special interest areas include robotic, minimally invasive surgery, acute care surgery, breast surgery and hernias.

Dr Yu received his BS in Biomedical Engineering at Yale University in 2013, his MD at the University of Washington in 2017. He began his residency training at Univerity of Texas Science Center in Houston, and completed residency in 2023 at Mountainview Hospital in Las Vegas.

Dr Yu is affiliated with Clark County Medical Society and the American College of Surgeons.
